   Mubende District received two multi-purpose tractors to help in the Agricultural sector especially to large scale farmers.1 tractor was given to veterans and another to the Youths. However, these tractors are available for any other interested farmers in the district.(See photos below)Veteran and Youth tractors                ii.   One coffee show was organized at Kyamasansa primary in Kassanda, to help farmers to learn new technologies in especially in coffee farming (See photograph below).Hon.MinisterSsempijja Vincent with LCV Kibuuka.B.Amooti monitoring exhibitors at the show        iii.   34,110kgs of bean seed NABE 1 and 83615kgs of maize seed Longe 9H were distributed.Maize distributed in Feb 2016 season.      iv.   39 extension workers and Veterinary officers at sub county level were recruited.v.   70000 grafted mango plantlets and 14000 banana tissue culture plantlets were distributed.vi.   189 pigs were received and distributed.vii.   100,000 suckers for Pineapples were received.viii.   107 Friesian cross breed heifers were received and distributed.ix.   221 boar cross breed goats received and distributed.Friesian cross breed heifers and boar cross breed goats distributed.         x.   172,000 poultry was vaccinated against scheduled poultry disease,47,000 cattle against lumpy skin disease,125 goats,4cattle,74 dogs,  and 15 cats against rabies.xi.   2 micro-water irrigation systems were bought and given to farmers in Kasambya and Madudu to improve harvesting even in dry season, and 3 maize Sheller machines were given to farmers in kitenga,kitumbi and Kiyuni.(see photograph below)Handing over machines  to farmers May 2016.
