Members of the parliamentary Covid 19 task force have today visited Mubende district to ascertain how they are prepared for Covid 19 management

Members of the parliamentary task force committee on Covid 19 led  Dr. lulume Bayiga have today visited the district to establish how the country was prepared to combat the surge of Covid 19

  • Functionality of the oxygen plan
  • Management of patients at the CTU
  • Newly established Intensive care unit

Key issues of concern by the parliamentary committee

  • Interventions taken by the district taskforce to prevent the spread of Covid 19 disease.
  • Status of VHTs in the district where they adequately equipped.
  • Whether the district received funds for any funds covid 19 and if so how were they utilized.
  • Challenges faced by the district in regard to Covid 19 pandemic management.
