LUBIMBIRI HEALTH CENTRE II UPGRADED TO II AT A TUNE OF 898,547,101

The construction works for the structures at the newly up graded lubimbiri Health Centre III have been today launched on December 16/2022 following the up grade of the unit from health centre ii to health centre III.

This colorful function has been officiated by Mr. Birungi Abubaker Deputy Resident District Commissioner Mubende district at lubimbiri health centre iii at lubimbiri sub county.

While launching the construction works at lubimbiri health centre iii Mr. Birungi has appealed to the leaders and the residents in lubimbiri subcounty who are the direct beneficiaries of the project to closely monitored the construction works so quality work is achieved. Government has invested a lot of funds into this project with an aim of improving health service delivery which should not go to waste by producing shoddy work.

Hon Muhereza Ntambi Micheal the Lcv chairman Mubende district has requested the contractor to promote local content by employing local people especially for non-technical work like ferrying sand, bricks, preparing food and also use local materials like brick, sand, timber which are readily available with in the community.
He has also warned the contractors against shoddy work and therefore cautioned them that they will not be paid.

Mr. Tumusiime Leonard CAO Mubende has requested the stake holders to provide the necessary support to both the contractors , the district technical staff and sub county technical staff for the success of the project.

Mr Muzibira John Baptist the district engineer explained that this contract is worth 898,547,101 and has been awarded to is Ms. Almond Integral U limited for a period of 12 months. The Construction works will include General and Maternity , placenta pit, medical waste pit, staff house, Out patient department renovation.
