SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET WORTH 350,651,013

Mubende District Council has approved supplementary budget estimates for the financial year 2024/2025 for Production and Community Based Services departments worth Uganda shillings 350,651,031.

Hon Kayengere John Secretary for Finance, Planning, Administration and Investment moved the motion to the district council for the approval of Mubende district supplementary budget for the financial year 2024/ 2025 amounting to shs 350,651,013.

Hon Kayengere noted the Public Finance Management Act 2015(PFMA) section 25(1) (2) and (3) provides for approval of supplementary funding by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

Mubende District Executive Committee meeting that was held on the 29th Jan 2025, 5thFeb 2025 and 13th Mar 2025 respectively recommended for approval of supplementary Budget Estimates for Financial year 2024/2025 for the production department, community and UGFIT and amounting to shs 350,652,013.

The effect of the above additional funding will increase the district approved budget from shs 43,819,528,789 to shs 43,986,034,130.
