MUBENDE DISTRICT COUNCIL LAYS BUDGET PROJECTED AT 40,349,990,703 /

Mubende district council has today laid it's budget for the FY 2024/2025 projected at 40,349,990,703

In a motion moved by the Secretary for Finance, Planning and Administration Hon Kayengere John where he highlighted that a total budget estimates of revenue and expenditure for Mubende district for the FY 2024/2025 is projected at shs 40,349,990,703.

sources of funding for the district budget include
- local revenue - 1,080,692,046
- total wage - 19,581,594,137.
- total development grant - 6,078,171,880
- Un conditional non wage recurrent grant- 11,026,685,908
- other government grants - 1,709,190,172
- Donor Funds - 270,000,000.

Hon Kayengere further stressed that the local revenue is quite low and so are the government grants , donor and transitional development funds thus the need for combined efforts of all political leaders and technical staff to support the new policy of automated integrated revenue administration system (IRAS) aimed at improving the local revenue collections.
