MUBENDE DISTRICT LEADERSHIP LAUNCHES CONSTRUCTION OF TWO GENERAL WARDS AND A STAFF HOUSE WORTH 430M

Mubende district leadership has launched construction of two general wards and staff house worth 430 million Uganda shillings in a bid to improve service delivery.

This function has been graced by the Deputy Resident District Commissioner Mr Birungi Abubaker and in attendance was the lcv chairman Hon Muhereza Ntambi Micheal, deputy chief administrative officer Mrs. Nankabirwa Mary Jesca, district executive members and area district councilors

These two general wards are going to be constructed at Kiyuni health centre iii and Madudu health centre iii respectively at a tune of 200,000,000 million Uganda shillings for Kiyuni health centre iii general ward and 200,020,030 uganda shiilings for Madudu health centre general ward. 330,000,000 uganda shillings will be used construction of a staff house at Lubimbiri health centre ii.

These two general wards will each contain a female ward, male ward, pediatrician ward and an emergency room. These building will have taraazo floor and a 10,000 liter plastic water tank. The staff house at Lubimbiri health centre ii will have 8 units.

Muluwa enterprise will be constructing the general ward at Kiyuni health centre iii while Sakaala investments will be constructing the general ward at Madudu general ward. The construction work will take a period of 5 months and complete buildings will be handed over to the district by 31/08/2022

Mr Birungi Abubaker the deputy RDC Mubende has appealed to the contractors to do quality work which will be able to stand the test of money and show value for money.

Lcv chairman Hon Muhereza Micheal Ntambi has applauded the government for availing the district with funds to enable them carry out such projects. He has therefore requested the leaders in these areas to take keen interest in monitoring of the on going construction work at the sites.
