RDC MUBENDE DISTRICT FLAGS OFF CENSUS MATERIALS.

Mubende District Census Committee headed by the Resident District Commissioner have today flagged off the distribution of the 1280 tablets for the National Population and Housing Census 2024 exercise.

AL- Haji Lule Umaru while handing over the 1280 tablets with their data banks thanked the President and the government for availing the funds which have been used to run the exercise where several people have been recruited, training and now the min computers to Carry out the exercise.

He noted that the census is the basis of planning for all the various government programs thus the need for all stake holders, Members of Parliament, district leaders, sub county, Parish and village leaders to perform the mobilisation role for the census exercise so that people are counted because it matters to be counted.

He stressed that the census activity has shifted from the analog to the digital version where data collection is accurate and timely thus issuance of 1280 tabs that have have received.

Hon Besigye Kellen Vice chairperson lCV thanked the people who have participated in the exercise and appealed to them to use the min computer for the intended use so that they may serve the purpose

She appealed to the political and technical team to mobilize the community to attend to the census.

Mr.Peter N Ruhweeza CAO Mubende district noted that the gadgets / min computers received are government properties thus the need to handle them carefully and safely so that they can serve the intended us.

Mr.Kajubi mark rep / coordinator UNBOS appreciated the district team, lCV, CAO and RDC for the support rendered for the census exercise.

He noted that the census activity will be digital where basic results with in the short period of time will be provided thus the issuance of the Tabs

appointment letters for the enumerator
