EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FACILITIES WORTH 500M SHILLINGS LAUNCHED

The Resident District Commissioner Mubende District Al- Haji Lule Umaru accompanied by the LCV chairman Hon Muhereza Ntambi Micheal, CAO Mr. Peter N Ruhweeza have today launched construction of Education department facilities at Rwegula primary school in Kasambya Sub county worth 500 million Uganda shillings

Facilities launched include 4 classroom blocks of two class rooms, one office , one store, 600 m chain link fence and renovation of old staff houses .

RDC Mubende District Al- Haji Lule Umaru has appreciated the Government of Uganda for providing the funds allocated for the construction of the facilities.

Mr.Lule has also appreciated the members of parliament for lobbying the funds for constructing the structures.

He informed the contractors that agreements are signed between Government and contractors thus the need to carry on the responsibility to do quality work and timely service delivery.

He requested the head teacher, members school management and PTA members to own the project and monitor all the construction works for quality service delivery.

RDC Lule has reminded the residents in this area to desist from politics but rather concentrate on the development programs like PDM, Emyooga to improve on their livelihood.

LCV. chairman Hon Muhereza Ntambi Micheal has appreciated the Area MP Hon Kabanda David for the continued lobbying of funds for the area thus improvement in performance

Hon Ntambi appealed to the contractors to provide quality work so that value for money is achieved.

Hon Ntambi further reminded the Head teachers , sub county leadership and residents that supervision of the construction works is paramount thus all works on going on this site should be monitored.

Hon Ntambi requested parents to perform their obligation of providing scholastic materials for their children while at school for improved performance

Mr.Peter N Ruhweeza CAO Mubende district thanked the district leadership who have lobbied for funds which are going to used for construction of the school facilities.

Mr. Ruhweeza reminded the residents of Rwegula that this their project thus the need to supervise and guard the materials and equipments against vandalism.

Mr. Ruhweeza requested the contractors to always avail BOQs , schedule of work, visitors books and safety measures for workers to the leaders for easy supervision and also desist from shoddy works because such works will not paid for.

Mr.Muzibira John Baptist the District engineer noted that this project will have 5 contractors namely jjemuva enterprises limited
mubende electrical company limited.
Delfa Uganda limited
Benchmark technical service limited
Jahaziel engineering services limited.

Mr Muzibira noted that Bench mark technical will construct a 2 class room block , 5 stance pit latrine. at 127,875,420
Jahaziel engineering services limited - will construct 600meters chain link fence and renovation of old staff houses worth 85,073,393.
Delfa Uganda limited -will construct a two 2 class room block- 95,906,866
Mubende electrical company limited - will construct a two classroom block - 92,911,816m
jjemuva Enterprise will construct a 2 classroom block, store and office worth 100, 091,140m

DEO Mr. Kabunga Asaph noted that with provision of the structures the performance will increase because students and teachers will have a conducive environment to perform better.

Nambooze Hanifer head teacher Rwegula primary school noted that the school has a total of 953 - 505 boys and 448 girls.

She has appreciated Government for the new structures because the school has had a challenge of building for the pupils.
