36 BENEFICARIES RECEIVE DIARY HEIFERS

Leaders in Mubende district have today handed over 36 diary heifers to the beneficiaries.

This function has been held at Kibalinga holding ground Kibalinga Sub County in Mubende district.

While handing over the animals lcv chairman Mubende district Mr. Muhereza Ntambi Micheal has appealed to the beneficiaries to take care of these animals so that the government’s target of removing people from poverty is achieved

Mr. Ntambi added that the district has put in place a monitoring team comprising of experts whose main role is to track down beneficiaries who have a tendency of selling and slaughtering the animals as soo as they receive them. Who ever is netted in such practice will face arrest and also buy and replace the animal.

Mr. Birungi Abubaker Deputy Resident District Commissioner informed the beneficiaries that government has played her role and offered them the animals, its now upon them to see to it that these animals are looked after so they can be able to get out of poverty.
